Prison Prayer Vigil
Posted: 02/06/2012 Filed under: 02-February, 2012, event, prayer Leave a commentOn February 16th, there will be a prayer vigil at the front gates of the Oklahoma State Penitentiary to mark the execution of Garry Thomas Allen for the 1994 Oklahoma County murder of Lawanna Gail Titsworth.
Prayers will be offered for Titsworth, Allen, their families, and the corrections officers who participate in the execution.
The vigil will begin at 5pm and will conclude when the sentence is carried out, shortly after 6pm. Fr. Bryan Brooks will present the vigil.
