“Dan’s War on Poverty” is coming to Christ the King
July 21 & 22.
The long awaited book by Tulsa author Patton tells the story of a crusading priest Father Dan Allen, who founded the anti-poverty movement Neighbor for Neighbor and dedicated his life to the poor and downtrodden.
“Dan’s War on Poverty” will be offered for sale in Fletcher Hall at Christ the King after each Mass on July 21 & 22. On Sunday you can meet Ann Patton, an award winning writer who wrote about Dan Allen as a Tulsa World reporter in the 1970s.
